AUX:

Your remote is already programmed to
control your digital set-top box. To control
your TV, DVD player, VCR or audio device,
follow the steps below to program your
remote.
HERE’S HOW:
1.
Install the batteries.
2.
Find the manufacturer’s code for your
TV (see other side).
3.
Turn on your TV and digital set-top box.
4.
Press the TV button on your remote
control.
5.
Pre
ss and hold the Setup button until the
TV button flashes twice, then release.
6.
Enter the first manufacturer’s code
listed for your TV. The TV button on your
remote will flash twice.
7.
Press the POWER button. If the TV turns
off, make sure that the VOL+/- and Mute
buttons also work. If so, you’re all set!
8.
If not, repeat these steps using the
next manufacturer’s code (you may
need to try several codes to find the
one that works). If you still can’t find a
code that
works, see the “Can’t Find
Your
Code?” section.

You can also control your DVD player
or audio device by using the AUX key.
Just follow the previous instructions,
substituting the AUX button for TV.
CAN’T FIND YOUR CODE?
If you can’t program your remote using
the codes on the back, follow the steps
below.
1. Turn on your TV.
2. Press TV on your remote. Then hold
Setup until the TV button flashes twice.
3. Enter 9-9-1 and the TV button will
flash twice.
4. Press 1 and the TV button will flash twice.
5. Press the Power button, then press CH+
multiple times until the TV turns off.
6. Once the TV turns off, press Setup to
lock in the code.

Q. Why doesn’t my mode key flash
when I press a key?
A. You may be in a mode that doesn’t
support the functionality of the button you
are pressing. Try pressing a different
button to see if the mode key flashes.
If that doesn’t work, you may need to
replace the batteries.
Q. Why does the mode key display one
long flash during programming?
A. You may have pressed the wrong code.
Check the code to be entered, and try
programming again.
Q. Why does my mode key flash, but
there is no response when I press
a key?
A. Make sure the remote control is aimed
at your home entertainment device and
is no further than 15 feet away.

Page Up/Down:
Displays the next or
previous page of program listings in the
on-screen guide.
Arrows:
Moves the highlight to the next
field within the on-screen guide.
OK/Select:
Selects a highlighted item.
Also displays the Mini-Guide while
watching TV.
On Demand:
Provides access to
On Demand.
Video Controls:
Controls On Demand
and DVR viewing — pause, fast-forward,
rewind and stop. In the AUX mode, these
buttons will control a VCR or DVD player.
My DVR:
Displays the DVR Menu options.
Instant Replay:
Jumps back 15 seconds
within a program.
Live:
Skips forward to the live point of
a program.
Note: Some features above require a DVR set-top box.
Guide:
Shortcut to TV Listings.
Info:
Provides a description of a program.
Menu:
Enters or exits the on-screen guide
menus.
Exit:
Exits guide screens and returns you
to viewing TV.
Last:
Returns you to the previous channel
or guide screen.
FAV:
Allows you to view and set up your
favorite channels.
Input TV/VCR:
In cable mode, this
bypasses the digital cable box. In TV and
AUX mode, this selects available inputs.
Swap:
Jumps between two tuners so you
can control the playback of two channels.
Helpful tip:
To search for codes for a DVD player,
VCR or audio device, follow the
instructions above using the AUX
button rather than the TV button.
In Step 4, use 2 instead of 1 for
DVD player or VCR; use 3 for an audio
device.
